Burton Wold Wind Farm, to the south-east of Kettering is Northamptonshire's first Wind Farm, consisting of 10 turbines with a maximum wind farm output of 20 Megawatts.
Each turbine has a 2 Megawatt capacity, is 64 metres to the hub and has a 71 metre rotor blade diameter, giving a 99.5 metre tip height.
The ten turbines will produce around 47 million units of renewable electricity annually, equivalent to the needs of around 10,000 homes, which is a quarter of Kettering Borough's households.
The project will also displace around 40,000 tonnes of Carbon Dioxide (CO2), 475 tonnes of Sulphur Dioxide, and 140 tonnes of Nitrogen Oxide from entering the atmosphere annually.
