Originally being born in Ayr, Scotland I have spent the last 66 years living in Kettering at various addresses, but mainly working some miles from the town.  My father was the Geof. Clarke, Engineering Manager at Kettering furnaces and later the proprietor of "Franks Fishing Tackle" in Wellington Street, Kettering - taking over from his father Francis George Clarke after whom I am named. Although attending Stamford Road Secondary School, I managed the achievement of obtaining the The Fellowship of the Financial Accountants.  I am now retired and looking to move to a Bungalow (in Kettering) to help in advancing years.
